"Enrollment took more effort than it should have"
Signing up wasn’t exactly difficult, but it definitely wasn’t as smooth as I expected. I had to re-enter my info a couple of times, and the checkout page wasn’t super clear. It ended up taking longer than it should for a basic enrollment process. I did get signed up in the end, but not the best first impression.

"Decent value, surprisingly enough"
I signed up mostly because the monthly price was way lower than the pet insurance options I looked at, which was a nice change from being charged a small fortune just for having dogs. So far, there haven’t been any weird surprises or gotchas, and it actually feels worth it for my two dogs. Imagine that

I signed up for Pet Assure because I figured it would save us a decent amount at the vet, but the discount didn’t end up covering as much as I thought it would. Maybe I just expected too much, but even with the savings, the monthly fee started to feel like another bill. I mean, it probably helps if you go to the vet a lot, but for us it somehow felt like we were paying to save money and not really saving that much. Could be a good fit for someone else, but I didn’t feel like we got enough value out of it.

I had a hard time finding many providers in my area. There just don’t seem to be many vets nearby, which was frustrating. Has anyone else run into the same issue?

"Canceling was more of a hassle than it should’ve been"
The service itself was fine, nothing amazing but it worked ok. What annoyed me was trying to cancel. It took way more digging around than I expected, and then I still had to wait for someone to get back to me. I also felt like the terms had changed somewhere along the way, which made the whole thing feel even more frustrating. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely not as simple as it should be.

The discounts were okay, but it felt limited once I actually tried using it for my vet bills. I still ended up paying a lot more than I expected, and it didn’t really save me the way I thought it would. It also kind of had that feeling where there wasn’t a real person there to help explain things or make it feel less frustrating

"Claim-free discount showed up without any hassle"
I didn’t have to file any claims this year, i was pleasantly surprised to see the discount applied automatically. I didn’t have to call or chase anyone down, I just checked my account and it was already there. Super easy process, and it felt great to see it work exactly like they promised

"Savings weren't as much as I hoped :/"
I signed up for Pet Assure hoping it would make a bigger dent in my vet bills, but the savings ended up being small for me. My vet did accept it, which was nice! But once I factored in the monthly cost, it just didn’t really feel worth it. Maybe it works better for other people, but for my pets, it wasn’t enough

"Got a straight answer fast"
Before my dog’s vet visit, I wasn’t totally sure how the discount was supposed to work, so I messaged Pet Assure to ask.
I’ll be honest, I usually get a little suspicious when companies send those overly polished, copy-paste sounding replies that don’t actually answer anything. But they got back to me quickly and explained it in plain English.
I appreciated not having to chase anyone down or dig through a bunch of vague info. It was just a simple, helpful response when I needed it.

"Discount wasn’t accepted many places"
I signed up thinking the discount would be easy to use, but the first couple of vets I called told me they don’t take Pet Assure anymore. I did find one that accepted it, but it was farther than I wanted to drive, and the savings didn’t really feel worth it. I’m sure it probably works better in some areas, but for me it was just kind of frustrating.

I was surprised by how many vets near me take Pet Assure. I checked before signing up and had a bunch of options close by, which made things so much easier. I definitely didn’t want to switch to some far-away clinic, so that was a really nice bonus.

The site was easy to get around. I didn’t run into any weird steps or pages freezing up, and I found the plan info quickly. The quote part was simple enough too. It also worked well on my phone, which makes me think they probably put some effort into making the mobile version decent

I mostly pull up the Pet Assure app when I’m already at the vet or trying to check my plan info real quick. I assumed it would be a hassle the first time, but finding my pet card was easy, and the clinic search worked without much trouble.
The only thing I noticed is it can be a little slow to load sometimes, and once it randomly made me log back in, which was annoying. I figured something was broken for a second, but it ended up being fine. Overall, it does what I need and saves me from digging through old emails.
